FOOTPRINTS

juga bisa bermanfaat, for you, readers! ;)

One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belong to me and one to my Lord. When the last scene of my life shot before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand...
There was only one set of footprints.
I realized that this was the lowest and the saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma.
“Lord, You told me when I decided to follow, You would walk and talk with me all the way.
But I’m aware that during the most troublesome times of my life, There is only one set of footprints.
I just don’t understand why,
when I need You most, You leave me.”
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.

bukankah seharusnya pertanyaannya bukan " Tuhan, dimanakah Engkau? Masihkah Engkau memperhatikanku? Masihkah Engkau setia menjagaiku?" tetapi "Tuhan, jauhkah aku daripada-Mu? Masihkah aku berjalan dengan-Mu, dalam kekuatan-Mu?" atau, "Tuhan, masih setiakah aku kepada-Mu?"

life is hard, indeed. many trials. many obstacles.
and even, failures.

if God let you to have one of 'them', He maybe want you to learn about 'something' valuable. don't ask God for more. He is faithful, the most. more than your closest friends, your father or your mother, your brothers or your sisters. just breakthrough. don't ever look at the past again.

God is waiting you at future.

DO YOU HAVE A KEY?

malam ini,
baru saja, saat saya masih membolak-balik bahan sosiologi organisasi, ka murni, salah satu kakak saya, mengirimkan sebuah pesan teks - sebuah sms sederhana, tapi mampu membuat saya tertegun sejenak,
like this :

If Jesus needed to pray, how can we do less?
(Luke 11:9-10)

so people,
do you have a key for your problem?
no? you don't have? psst, may i suggest you something?

let's ask Dear God for a key,
first step, let's pray ;)
